What do I do if I already have a JD Williams account?
There will be no change to your existing JD Williams account. To ensure you log into the right account online, use your account number which can be found on your statements or any other communications.

If I have a Home Essentials Personal Credit Account what will change when my account becomes a JDW Pay account?
Only the branding will change. Your statement preference, your minimum payment and any agreements with your Home Essentials personal credit account are unaffected.

Can I use my Home Essentials account at JD Williams?
Yes - There is no need to open a JD Williams account. You can log in to JD Williams and shop using your Home Essentials account number.

Will I still get all the same delivery options?
Yes - All delivery options will remain the same, including Next Day and Click and Collect.

What happens to my Home Essentials account after Home Essentials closes down?
Once the Home Essentials website has closed down, your account will become a JD Williams account. This means you’ll see JD Williams branding on your statements and other communications.

What happens if I have the Home Essentials app?
From 21/01/26 you’ll no longer be able to shop using the Home Essentials app. Don’t worry, you can continue shopping the same great products (and even more) on the JD Williams app.
